The team of Sensacional consists of professionals with different/heterogeneous backgrounds who came together to achieve the same objectives. As we are a network of people living in different countries, facing different duties and commitments, we have taken advantage of the Internet to work and get coordinated. We have created an integrated online platform which allows us to communicate internally and externally as well as to make and evaluate new proposals and welcome new, potential consultants. This flexible and effective structure, intangible but real, allows us to keep running costs low, so the budgets of our projects are not affected by such expenses. Our working strategy draws on the expertise of our professionals, both in the management of the organization and the implementation of our projects. Our staff and local representatives are based in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa, but they all work in accordance with the same, specific strategies and complying with the same standards of quality. Manager of heterogeneous development projects since 2005. Firm supporter of the movements of social economy and the social inclusion through work in America Latina, focuses on the generation of value chains at local levels and the promotion of qualified vocational training. Creates Sensacional to stimulate the people and make them active actors of their lives, to make them dreams come true and be free.
Paolo PerriVice-President, Responsible of Administration Area
Graduated in Economics in Rome, gets a triennial experience in the financial area of an important credit institute in Italy. In 2007 moves to the non-profit field, specializing in the creation and technical and administrative implementation of development projects in the South of the world. Conscious of the need to give a new approach to the actual economic and social problems, funds Sensacional together with Luca and Marta in 2010.
Diego Maria IernaFundraising & Marketing Manager
Graduated in Business Management, focuses his studies in fundraising in London, where he starts a career in different areas of this discipline, from institutional fundraising to corporate ones, from marketing to social media, working for 3 years for different national and international non-profit entities. Joins Sensacional in June 2011 pushed by the strong will to apply his knowledge into a non-profit where he shares vision, interests and genuine values.
Daria NataliniResearch & Innovation Manager
Graduated in Political Economy in Rome, gains her experience in the last 6 years working in finance and management control fields. At the same time, investigates the 2.0 Web, being fascinated by the infinite potential of the Internet and the new technologies. Joins Sensacional to achieve the transformation and the social improvement in the society, sharing her passion and skills in economic field to this project that is part of her life.
Marta MontinoEvent Manager
Graduated in Modern Art History, she specializes in the production of art exhibitions and of specialized art articles. In the past years collaborated with museums and galleries and at the same time she joined the Third Sector, participating to international volunteering projects. Being passionate for any form of art, she funded Sensacional in 2010. She is in charge of the creation and management of events.
Nicola MordentiProject Manager
Graduated in Padua in Territorial Economy and Company Networks joins the Third Sector in 2009, managing a centre for distribution of first need products in the Aquila earthquake emergency. Consolidates his passion for social issues by working in Ecuador as economic expert, developing skills in training and technical management. Joins Sensacional in July 2011 fully sharing its ideals and goals.
Martina AndrettaInstitutional Development
Background in social anthropology and in person-centered counseling. She specializes as in Italy as in underdeveloped countries in the multiculturalism, gender issues, pedagogy and theatre of the oppressed. Constant traveler in search of places, senses and cultures, joined Sensacional because shares its values and the innovative will that animate it. She works in project drafting, institutional development and formation.
Erica BerardiCorporate Fundraising Executive
Graduated in Economics with a master degree in CSR and Management, gains a wide experience in profit sector but being always interested in the associative world, being active in communication and fundraising activities with many local entities. Joins Sensacional in 2010 and she becomes member in 2011. She now actively focuses on marketing and corporate fundraising.
Federico BognaInternational PR
7 years of experience in Asia as in the public sector, managing European projects on intellectual property, as in the private one, focusing in the commercial development and the penetration of new markets in Asia and Pacific. Big fan of adventure and discovery, joins Sensacional for its spirit, that tends to create sustainable opportunities in disadvantaged communities worldwide. In Sensacional he is in charge of the establishment of relations with institutional and international partners.
Margherita FabbriResearch & Innovation
Graduated in Florence in Economy of Development. During her studies she spends a year between Bosnia and Kosovo, collaborating with rural development projects. In 2009 she moves to Belgium as researcher in journalism. In 2010 she develops a gender equality project in Peru and since 2011 works in the US as consultant for economic and entrepreneurial development for an important international organization. Joins Sensacional in June 2011 where she focuses on project drafting and research and innovation.
Mario PenzoSpecialist – Africa
Energetic and passionate person, becomes physiotherapist after a terrible sport injury. He gets specialized in osteopathy and believes that the cure of any diseases starts from the cure of our souls. He falls in love with Africa in 2008, when he reaches a Mission in Tanzania as volunteer, training local physiotherapists. Joins Sensacional for the firm will to make some of the dreams of that continent come true.
Fabio BianchiHuman Resources and Filmmaking
Travel, adventure and sports lover, gains a wide experience of the people and of the world. He becomes labor consultant in Rome and starts operating in an important Italian firm. In Sensacional he is responsible for the personnel and develops audiovisual activities in support to the Marketing and Communication group.
Ama Serwaa BoatengProject Manager – Ghana
Graduated in Psychology at the University of Ghana and currently enrolled on the MA GlobalDevelopment and Social Justice Program at St. John’s University, New York. Ama has worked in a variety of roles in the educational, health, research fields in the UK and in the voluntary sector in Ghana. She collaborates with Sensacional since September 2011 as project manager for the development of projects related to education, health and social enterprise in Ghana.
Domenico BarraGraphic designer
Lived for 7 years in London, where he studied Contemporary Art & Design at Leeds College. His eclectic attitude led him to cross the borders of classic academic notions and gain an avant-garde approach. He experienced different techniques, such as installations, video art, comic strips, digital art. He dedicated himself to poems and writings, too. Firm supporter of art as tool for social improvement, joins Sensacional in October 2011 as graphic designer.
